Here are the photos I have been promising. 5 charts which I paid a total of 6 Euros for. Three colors of Zweigart at 10 Euros a meter- I love a good deal! ANd the start of my Peacock Cypher from Just Nan.
Hi Rachael - I stitched Peacock Cypher last year - yours appears to have more than one shade of blue while mine is all monochrome... did you change your fibers?
Hi Carol, No I didn't change the colors. I am doing it in the called for silks. In the directions it says:"monochromatic design, stitched in two close shades of one color." I too, think that there is more difference in mine, than in the picture on the chart. I am also stitching the specialty stitches with one thread instead of two as I am using 32 count fabbie instead of 28. I guess it makes my piece individual. LOL
Like the title of my Blog says, I am a California girl living in Germany. I am married to Michael and have spent most of the last fifteen years as a SAHM to Alexander, 17 and Patrick,15. I have been teaching English, part time, for the last four years.
