ooooooohhhhhhh aaaaaaahhhhhhhh Rachael those colors look gorgeous, I must say I particularly like the one 3rd from the left. While hanging them on the wall as is, would certainly in many circles be considered 'fiber art', I bet knitting with them will be even better.
btw - still waiting to hear from my dog/house sitter about the feasibility of the July adventure.
LOL! I've felt that way about some of my stitching supplies (that I'd rather just play with/admire them than actually use them). These do look absolutely gorgeous!!
Yep, I know exactly what you mean, Rachael! I always end up sending the gorgeous stuff as birthday presents to others, who WILL actually use them. These sock yarns are real pretty :o)
Hi Rachael, I'm back on line again. I love the wolmeise yarn and again I'm jealous. The wolmeise yarn which I bought from the stricktreff is great to work with and knits up like a dream. I'm using 2.25mms for it though. I have decided that jealousy doesn't suit me so I'm going to order some just now. Goodluck with the internet.
Like the title of my Blog says, I am a California girl living in Germany. I am married to Michael and have spent most of the last fifteen years as a SAHM to Alexander, 17 and Patrick,15. I have been teaching English, part time, for the last four years.

oops, I meant the 4th from the left, or I guess that translates into the one on the far right...
Yep, it is time for me to get some sleep.

It's a beautiful sight - a wall full of the most scrumptious fibers in all shades and hues! I could see myself decorating with yarn and floss. :D
Whatever you decide to do with it, enjoy, Rachael!!
