An important finish

I am letting out a sigh of relief. I have been messing around with a mail art for weeks and it is finally finished. I am not sure why I had such a hard time getting it done, exept that I wanted it to be "just so" and a large part of getting it right was in the finishing-which is not my strong point. I can't post a picture yet because it is supposed to be a surprise ,but as soon as it arrives at it's home I will put up one ..or two. I am very pleased with the way it came out and all of the thought that went into it shows.

Alexander is doing well and now just has to avoid being overactive for a week or so, and as my house guests have gone home (sniff, sniff) I have some time to work on Barbara's RR and my socks. Hope to have an update picture on those tomorrow.

I had such problems finishing my mail art too! I'm sure yours looks great :) I LOVE those socks you made. They look so warm.

Your house guests have arrived home (sniff sniff) we would rather still be there.
Thank you for teaching me about socks. I have #2 started and have even managed to fix a huge mistake many rows back. My sock-knitting is much tighter on this sock. I will post pics as soon as possible.

Hi Rachael,
I'm glad to hear Alexander is doing well. I missed your last post about what happened. I know it's always scary when our children have pain.
Your socks are wonderful.

Wow, so many things have happened to you when I was away! Poor Alexander! I hope he's doing well. Jula used to be a GP in Germany, and I remember the hours she put in. She was hardly ever at home!
I love your socks! They're getting better and better. I really should give up my Booga Bag and try something like this myself. Maybe you can teach me sometime?
