Thanks everyone for your good wishes and crossed bits on this one. While PC didn't recover 100% from my mad washing , I did get most of the bleeding out. Only someone who is looking very closely for booboos will ever see the very slight stains. I imagine that it is not visible in the photo at all. I also was able to stitch on about 3/4 of the beads last night. the real kicker is that the original stain didn't come out either, although it did fade quite a bit. I think it can be covered by a carefully cut matte.
I am off to sew on the rest of the beads now. I will post this one again when it is matted and framed.

OMG... I just read your last post and I definitely cringed. Then I scanned your picture for evidence of the bleeding and could find none. You did a fabulous job getting it all out. I would have been crying! In fact I have one piece that really should be ironed before I take it to the framers and I've decided to have them to do it because I'm too afraid!
I'm so happy for you, Rachael! It looks perfectly alright to me. You do stitch quickly, don't you? It seems like only yesterday that you started this project, and now it's nearly finished! Good luck with those beads :o)
Any remnant of the stain sure doesn't show in the photo - yay!! So glad you were able to salvage it. :D
Phew! I don't see any stain either. Hooray!
